Can my HEATSCOPE® heater be installed near a power outlet?The heater cannot be installed directly below a power source or socket. The sides of the unit must be at least 20cm from the nearest power source.
Can I install the HEATSCOPE® heater in my bathroom?Spot and Vision models must avoid high humidity areas, while Pure's enhanced water protection makes it suitable for humid spaces.
Are HEATSCOPE® heaters supplied with a thermostat?No, they do not include a thermostat control system. However, if desired, they can work with an existing thermostat. Please consult your electrician for further information.
Can HEATSCOPE® infrared heaters be mounted directly on a wooden structure?HEATSCOPE® infrared heaters include safe-to-use spacers for mounting on wood structures, ensuring proper clearance from combustible materials.
Do you have a recommended HEATSCOPE® installer?Unfortunately, we do not maintain a list of suggested installers.
What is the minimum height clearance required for HEATSCOPE® heaters?Ensure a minimum 1800mm space from the ground to the lower edge for HEATSCOPE® radiant heaters
Are there any guidelines that I must follow to install the HEATSCOPE® heater?Electricians must follow manufacturer's instructions.
How long will installation take for the HEATSCOPE® heater?Installing a single electric radiant heater typically takes 2-4 hours, varying with area and switchboard distance.
Can I cover my HEATSCOPE® heater?Electric heaters need continuous ventilation and should never be covered or enclosed with insulating materials.
Can I install my HEATSCOPE® vertically?Pure is versatile for vertical or horizontal installation; Spot and Vision are horizontal-only.
Can all HEATSCOPE® heaters be mounted on the wall or ceiling?All models are adaptable for wall or ceiling installation to suit your project requirements.
